Leadership Appointment: Maree Falkus Named ANZ Commercial Finance Manager

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Maree Falkus, Commercial Finance Manager at Level ANZ. Maree is a highly experienced finance professional and FCPA with a comprehensive background in commercial finance, business analysis, stakeholder engagement and project management. 

With over 20 years of experience, Maree has worked across various industries, in New Zealand, the UK and Australia. Maree has held key roles at organisations such as Carlton & United Breweries, Boeing Australia, TalkTalk and Fletcher Building. 

Leading the Finance team, Maree will be focused on driving the overall financial strategy of the business, ensuring it aligns with both the immediate goals and long term vision required to build a highly engaged network of 500 Members across ANZ.

What attracted you to Level? 

I was looking for a step away from the corporate environment and a role where I can feel closer to the front end of the business, with even more ability to influence outcomes. The team at Level has developed a positive, authentic culture that really is the icing on the cake.

What excites you the most about the role?

The ability to grow with the business and join at an early stage of its development is really exciting, and something I’ve not had an opportunity to experience in my career to date.

What are your favourite hobbies?

With my children at the ages of 12 and 10 my spare time these days is filled with their hobbies and sporting activities! I do enjoy reading when I get a chance to clear my head, and am hoping to get back into a bit of running (using that term quite loosely!).

What’s your favourite food?

I love italian food, you can’t go past-a (see what I did there?) really great lasagne!
