In May 2025, Taree and the wider Mid North Coast of NSW were hit with catastrophic flooding. With record-breaking rainfall and river levels, the community faced power outages, road closures, and widespread damage to homes, farms, and businesses.

Among those affected were multiple local dairy farms, where power loss meant cows couldn’t be milked for several days, causing serious distress for both livestock and farmers. With phone reception also down, many locals felt isolated and overwhelmed as they worked to get back on their feet.

Jeff Brown and the team at Level Electrical Taree were quick to respond, working across the weekend to restore power and get critical systems up and running. They supported not just farms, but also local clubs, businesses, residents, and urgent insurance recovery work.

Their quick, coordinated response brought more than just power, it helped lift morale at a time when many were feeling drained and defeated.

“There’s been a lot of depression and low spirits around,” said Jeff. “It felt good to be part of something positive, to help get people going again, and be part of the community pulling together.”
