The new Heatherbrae Supa Centre is now open, bringing together a high-traffic mix of national retailers and food outlets. Level Electrical Newcastle Central delivered the complete electrical package across the precinct, from site reticulation through to tenancy fit-outs, ensuring each tenancy was handed over safely and in line with the builder’s phased program.

A complex, multi-tenancy retail build

This was a large, multi-stage development with overlapping programs and staggered handover dates. The team managed electrical infrastructure across the precinct and delivered tenancy fit-outs for national retailers including Anaconda, Subway, Red Rooster, Zarraffa’s Coffee, Metro, Petbarn and RSEA.

Scope of work
  • Full electrical works across the site

  • Electrical reticulation and distribution

  • Wiring and fit-out of individual tenancies

  • Coordination with builder and multiple tenant programs

Navigating scale and sequencing

The size of the site and the number of active work zones required tight planning and clear communication. With different tenancies progressing at different times, the team scaled labour up or down in line with the builder’s requirements, maintaining safety standards and keeping each handover on track.

Outcome

The project was delivered on time and on budget, with multiple end clients satisfied with the finish quality and opening timelines. The centre’s prominent location is a visible reminder of what the team can achieve on large, multi-tenancy builds.
