Level Plumbing Canberra’s experienced team may be able to offer a low cost, long lasting, “no-dig” solution – PIPE RELINING
Used to rehabilitate damaged and worn-out pipes, drainage pipe relining is a trenchless repair technique that involves complex processes. The method involves inserting a flexible lining material that is usually made of resin-coated fibreglass or polyester, into the existing pipe through access points. The lining material is then inflated or inverted, pressing it against the inner walls of the damaged pipe.
Once in place, the lining is cured or hardened. It then creates a new, seamless pipe within the existing one.
The relining process effectively seals cracks, joints, and other defects which prevents leaks and improves the pipe's structural integrity. Drainage pipe relining is a cost-effective and less disruptive solution compared to traditional pipe replacement as it requires minimal excavation and significantly reduces the downtime associated with repairs. The resulting rehabilitated pipe is durable, corrosion-resistant, and has a long lifespan, making it an ideal solution for restoring and maintaining efficient drainage systems.
